Electrical Works Inspector

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Electrical Works Inspector to oversee daily site operations in Qatar. The role ensures electrical construction is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical construction activities to verify compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Inspect materials and workmanship for quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily, safety, and quality control reports.
• Coordinate with construction teams for power distribution, lighting, wiring, and control systems.
• Manage site safety, ensuring adherence to electrical safety protocols.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of electrical components prior to handover.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical construction inspection, including at least 5 years on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with inspection reporting software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other electrical engineering design software.
