ELV Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified ELV Engineer to lead and execute Extra Low Voltage (ELV) system projects across Qatar. The role involves designing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining a range of ELV solutions such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and public address systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and commission ELV systems according to project specifications.
• Prepare technical proposals, bills of quantities, shop drawings, and comprehensive system documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Supervise installation activities, monitor timelines, and ensure compliance with Qatar standards.
• Conduct troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and provide technical support.
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and ensure proper testing and hand‑over documentation.
• Support the business development team with technical clarifications when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Valid UPDA certification.
• 4–6 years of experience in ELV systems within Qatar or the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, AV, and security systems.
• Experience in project execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Valid Qatar driving licence preferred.
