ELV Technician

About the role

The ELV Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of low‑voltage (ELV) and ICT systems such as access control, gate barriers, CCTV and networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test and commission ELV systems including access control, gate barriers, parking management, bollards, PA‑BGM, intercom, IP TV, IP telephony, active & passive networking and CCTV.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or components, and perform regular maintenance and upgrades of hardware and software.
• Read and interpret as‑built drawings, scopes of work and blueprints to ensure correct implementation.
• Respond promptly to service and emergency calls, interact courteously with customers, and report issues requiring vendor escalation.
• Ensure compliance with local code requirements such as MOI‑SSD guidelines.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI certificate in a relevant field.
• 3‑5 years of experience working with ELV and ICT systems.
