Engineer – Solace & Camunda BPM Integration

About the role

We are seeking a Solace & Camunda BPM Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain event‑driven messaging and business process workflows across enterprise platforms. The role operates within a Kubernetes (OKE) environment and combines Camunda process modeling with day‑to‑day administration of both Camunda and Solace.

Key responsibilities

• Model and develop BPMN workflows for entity onboarding and payment processing using Camunda Modeler.
• Build workflow services with Camunda Java SDK or Node.js SDK and interact with Zeebe via gRPC/REST.
• Monitor and manage process instances through Camunda Operate and Tasklist.
• Write and execute unit tests for Zeebe workflows using JUnit or Jest.
• Support Camunda CI/CD pipelines on OKE, including Azure DevOps pipeline creation, ingress configuration, and Key Vault integration.
• Perform Camunda administration tasks such as backups, upgrades, and repository management.
• Administer Solace messaging infrastructure, including configuration, patching, and queue/topic design.
• Troubleshoot workflow execution issues, message delivery failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with application teams to define SLAs for critical payment and onboarding flows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
