English Copywriter – Tourism (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced English Copywriter to create compelling tourism‑focused content for our Doha office. You will work with international clients, shaping brand narratives across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality written material such as thought‑leadership articles, social media posts, press releases, ad copy, newsletters, and website content.
• Ensure all output is clear, concise, accurate and aligns with client brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to gather insights.
• Research industry trends, competitor activity and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
• Review and edit content created by colleagues or external contributors.
• Mentor junior writers and guide new joiners in adopting brand‑consistent writing styles.
• Maintain and update client key messaging and style guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• 8+ years of senior writing experience, preferably in journalism, B2B or government communications; GCC experience is a plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse formats, from short‑form marketing copy to long‑form articles and op‑eds.
• Fluent English (Arabic proficiency a plus) with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content for varied audiences.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
