English Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site English Teacher to join our school in Doha, Qatar. The teacher will deliver American‑curriculum English language and literature lessons to assigned grade levels, creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess English language and literature lessons aligned with the American curriculum.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of progress and attendance.
• Integrate educational technology and digital learning tools into classroom activities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, communicate regularly with parents/guardians, and participate in school events and professional development.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field.
• Experience delivering curriculum‑aligned instruction to diverse learners, preferably in an international or multicultural school setting.
• Strong lesson‑planning abilities, with capacity to design structured, differentiated, outcomes‑based lessons.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families and staff.
• Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
• Demonstrated classroom‑management skills and a commitment to inclusive, student‑centered practices.
