Estimator – Construction Tender & Cost Specialist

About the role

The Estimator is responsible for producing realistic, accurate and competitive cost estimates for quotations and tenders. The role involves receiving enquiries, using a proprietary estimation system, and ensuring timely delivery of estimates in line with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review contract enquiries, develop pricing plans and meet submission deadlines.
• Conduct site visits, evaluate projects and liaise with tender committees.
• Send enquiries to the supply chain, select suitable suppliers and negotiate best prices.
• Analyze supplier quotes, compare terms and prepare tender analysis for internal and client presentations.
• Monitor tenders, attend client meetings and ensure all documentation complies with procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in the fit‑out industry, preferably in Qatar.
• Technical degree (B.Tech, B.E.) or diploma related to construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of the full tender process and value engineering.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
