Executive Director, Investor Relations

About the role

The organization is looking for a senior executive to lead its investor‑relations function. The role involves shaping strategic engagement, ensuring service excellence, and driving retention of key institutional investors across Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of investor relationship, engagement, and retention strategies.
• Act as the senior escalation point for strategic investors and key accounts.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with investors, banking partners, corporates, family offices, and public‑sector stakeholders.
• Coordinate across internal functions to resolve investor requirements efficiently and enhance the overall investor experience.
• Use investor feedback and relationship intelligence to identify service improvements and growth opportunities.
• Establish governance, satisfaction, retention, and escalation mechanisms for investor accounts.
• Represent the organization at investor meetings, executive forums, and stakeholder engagements.
• Lead, coach, and develop relationship‑management and investor‑service teams.

Required profile

• Qatari talent aligned with an approved workforce plan.
• Senior corporate‑banking leader (e.g., Head of Corporate Banking, Corporate Banking Director, Executive Director, Head of Corporate Coverage, Head of Branches, or Head of Relationship Management).
• 15+ years of experience in banking, corporate‑relationship, institutional coverage, or investor‑management roles.
• Extensive network and credibility with CEOs, CFOs, business owners, family offices, and senior decision‑makers.
• Proven record of improving service quality, retention, and relationship depth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Executive presence, sound judgement, and excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
