Experienced Audit Associate – External Audit (JRC, Qatar Market)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate for its Audit & Assurance practice, focusing on external audit engagements for the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) serving the Qatar market. You will work from our Amman office, collaborating with on‑shore and off‑shore teams to deliver high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and delivering audit procedures that meet regulatory and risk‑management standards.
• Adapt and issue referral instructions, define audit scope, and coordinate with Centres of Excellence to ensure accurate and complete information flow.
• Track deliverables from component auditors, link risks, controls, and findings, and document audit quality milestones.
• Prepare audit documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting judgments from audit judgments.
• Apply AI tools in the audit context, using prompt‑engineering techniques while exercising professional scepticism and adhering to responsible AI governance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of public‑accounting experience, preferably with a Big‑Four audit firm.
• International accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA (CA preferred).
• Fluent in English; Arabic bilingualism is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in applying AI within audit engagements.
• Knowledge of prompt‑engineering fundamentals and structured problem‑solving for AI‑driven tasks.
