Experienced Financial Advisory Consultant

About the role

This position will be responsible for planning, driving, and advising clients on their business financial strategy. The role manages multiple client engagements, focuses on relationship management, and assists businesses in making well‑informed decisions to ensure financial success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, identifying leads and ensuring profitability.
• Drive business development, upselling and cross‑selling advisory services.
• Oversee collection and receivables cycles for the portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, key management personnel and stakeholders.
• Understand clients’ short‑ and long‑term plans and provide strategic financial recommendations.
• Deliver accurate financial and management reporting and ensure timely service delivery.
• Review team work, provide feedback, and coach members for development.
• Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual audits.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and train stakeholders.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial models to support client decisions.
• Analyse financial and non‑financial data, create models and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Commerce or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CMA, CPA or CA (preferred).
• Background in corporate finance, accounting or finance.
• Experience working with small‑medium businesses and related tools/systems.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Goal‑oriented, solution‑focused and strategic thinker.
• Proven project management and process‑improvement skills.
• High professionalism, integrity and business ethics.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
