Facilities Manager – Electromechanical Maintenance

About the role

The Facilities Manager will oversee electromechanical maintenance and technical FM services across multiple facilities, ensuring reliable operation of building systems and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role combines leadership of technical teams with direct responsibility for system performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily electromechanical and technical FM operations, covering electrical, mechanical, ELV, controls, BMS, HVAC, elevators, and fire protection systems.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities.
• Lead engineers, supervisors, technicians, and specialist service providers to achieve performance targets.
• Monitor technical performance, resolve operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements and applicable standards.
• Coordinate resources and multiple technical teams, liaising with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years total experience, including at least 5 years in Facility Management.
• Relevant GCC experience on large‑scale FM/electromechanical projects; experience in schools/kindergartens is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• Preferred certifications: CFM, FMP, SFP, QCDD, and Grade A classification by Kahramaa.
