Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager ensures that the company's office premises are safe, efficient, well‑maintained, and fully compliant with local regulations. Working closely with internal teams, landlords, contractors and service providers, the role guarantees a productive environment and smooth operation of all facility‑related functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, safe and functional workplace.
• Manage maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire‑safety systems, coordinating with building management and specialist contractors.
• Source, evaluate and administer contracts for cleaning, security, technical maintenance, catering and other services, monitoring vendor performance against SLAs.
• Lead office relocation and fit‑out projects, handling space planning, furniture procurement, cabling readiness and interior‑design coordination.
• Control utility accounts, ensure timely payments and maintain all facility documentation, including leases and regulatory permits.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Civil Defence and QFC health‑and‑safety requirements, manage access control, parking allocation and emergency response plans.
• Prepare and monitor the annual facilities budget, reporting variances and project status to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CFM, IFMA or BIFM is preferred.
• Proven experience managing office facilities, vendor contracts and large‑scale relocation or fit‑out projects.
