Facility Manager

About the role

AlEmadi Enterprises, a leading Qatari conglomerate, is seeking a highly experienced Facility Manager to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance and tenant satisfaction across its diverse portfolio of properties. The role ensures that all facilities remain safe, functional, cost‑efficient and aligned with the company’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of buildings, common areas and space‑management activities, including renovations and fit‑outs.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑alarm, elevators and other MEP systems.
• Develop and monitor maintenance schedules, service reports and minimise equipment downtime.
• Manage external contractors and suppliers, evaluate performance, review quotations and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Ensure adherence to Qatar safety regulations, conduct inspections, risk assessments and maintain up‑to‑date permits and certifications.
• Prepare and control facility budgets, monitor utility consumption and identify cost‑saving initiatives.
• Lead maintenance, housekeeping, security and technical teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Support premium customer experience by responding promptly to operational concerns and emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facility management within large‑scale commercial or mixed‑use environments.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar safety regulations and building codes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple contractors.
• Excellent organizational and budgeting skills.
