Fashion Design Manager

About the role

A leading holding company in the textile and garment industry is hiring an experienced Fashion Design Manager in Qatar. The role leads the design team, develops collections and keeps designs aligned with brand standards and market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fashion design team, ensuring creativity and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Develop fashion concepts and collections aligned with target customers and seasonal trends.
• Research and forecast market trends and customer preferences.
• Train, guide and support the design team.
• Oversee design development, pattern making, cutting and sample production.
• Ensure designs meet brand standards, market requirements and commercial objectives.
• Monitor design performance and profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fashion design management.
• Proven track record in fashion design and team management; experience designing Abayas and Jalabiyas is highly preferred.
• Strong creativity with a commercial understanding of fashion trends and market demands.
• In-depth knowledge of fabrics, materials, cutting techniques and garment construction.
• Excellent communication in English and Arabic, and strong leadership of multicultural teams.
