Field Coordinator Specialist – Rotating Machines Maintenance

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a motivated Field Coordinator Specialist to lead curative and preventive maintenance on rotating equipment at customer sites in Doha. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of outage execution to meet safety, quality and lead‑time targets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform curative and preventive maintenance on rotating machines such as gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and accessory equipment at customer sites.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, calibrate, and reassemble mechanical and instrumentation components, including precise measurements and dimensional control.
• Conduct non‑destructive testing (NDT) and welding activities, replace spare parts, and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical or instrumentation engineering, or a high school diploma with at least five years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work in teams and prioritize customer needs.
• Additional experience in logistics, systems engineering or rigging/crane operations is a plus.
