Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our financial operations in Qatar. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will drive strategic financial planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations and ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Handle complex accounting transactions, reconciliations, and reporting for finance/insurance activities.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, guaranteeing timeliness and accuracy.
• Supervise and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Ensure timely tax filing in line with Qatar tax laws.
• Maintain internal controls and risk‑management procedures.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure full compliance with AML regulations set by the Qatar Central Bank.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within the financial or insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar tax laws and financial regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex financial operations.
