Financial Advisory Business Development Director

About the role

We are looking for a highly connected Business Development Director to lead client origination and relationship development across Qatar and Saudi Arabia for an international investment and advisory platform. The role focuses on high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, banks, asset managers and institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new investment and advisory clients throughout Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with family offices, HNW/UHNW investors, institutional investors, asset managers, banks and investment companies.
• Introduce qualified investors to venture capital, private equity, private credit and other private‑market opportunities.
• Build relationships with Saudi and Qatari financial institutions for investment, distribution or strategic partnership.
• Generate advisory mandates involving capital raising, corporate finance, strategic transactions and cross‑border investment.
• Arrange meetings between prospective investors and senior management, fund managers and transaction principals.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospective investors and advisory clients.
• Identify new investment‑product and distribution opportunities based on investor demand.

Required profile

• 7+ years of financial‑services, investment or institutional business‑development experience.
• Strong existing network of HNW/UHNW investors, family offices and/or financial institutions in Qatar and/or Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated ability to originate revenue‑generating mandates.
• Backgrounds such as private banking, wealth management, asset management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, fund distribution, family‑office advisory, corporate finance or alternative investments.
• Excellent English; Arabic strongly preferred.
