Financial Planning & Analysis Lead / Manager (Bahrain/Qatar)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead Financial Planning & Analysis for a Service Line in the MENA region. The role will drive profitability, provide strategic insight, and support decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of FP&A analysts to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports and own the P&L reporting cycle.
• Track actual vs. plan KPIs, analyse variances and deliver actionable insights.
• Partner with Operations to perform root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop multi‑scenario financial models to evaluate business levers.
• Maintain strong relationships with Finance and Service Line leadership and act as the primary contact for financial data.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc finance requests.

Required profile

• Finance‑related degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, preferably in FP&A.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong ownership.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
