Fit-out Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

The Fit-out Engineer (Civil) will lead interior fit‑out and civil construction activities on‑site across a range of projects in Qatar. Reporting to project managers, the role ensures that all works are executed to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines while coordinating closely with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day fit‑out and civil works at project sites.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Ensure all work complies with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor timelines, track site progress, and meet deadlines.
• Supervise interior finishing works such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, and painting.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and compliance.
• Support material planning, procurement coordination, and site logistics.
• Prepare progress reports and technical documentation.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Resolve technical and site‑related issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in fit‑out or civil construction projects.
• Hands‑on experience with commercial, office, retail, hospitality or residential fit‑out projects.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• GCC or Qatar experience is an advantage; Qatar driving licence preferred.
