Fitness Instructor

About the role

The Fitness Instructor will deliver professional fitness guidance and support to guests and members within a luxury hotel and spa environment. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient daily operations of the Fitness Centre while creating personalized fitness programmes that meet individual goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the Fitness Centre safely and efficiently, conducting daily equipment inspections and maintaining cleanliness.
• Conduct fitness assessments, develop customised exercise programmes, and lead personal training sessions and group classes.
• Demonstrate correct equipment use, monitor guests during workouts, and provide motivational support.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including emergency procedures and First Aid protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, training sessions, class schedules, and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Holder of an internationally recognised Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer certification; degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a luxury hotel, resort, fitness centre or similar wellness environment.
• Valid First Aid, CPR and AED certification preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and guest‑relation skills.
