Fleet Operations Manager

About the role

The Fleet Operations Manager will lead the efficient utilization, allocation, and availability of vehicles across all locations, ensuring rental‑ready status and seamless logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fleet utilization, allocation, and vehicle availability across all locations.
• Oversee vehicle lifecycle activities including induction, deployment, maintenance, replacement, and defleeting.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and collections to keep vehicles rental‑ready.
• Lead driver teams, handling scheduling, productivity, and compliance.
• Monitor maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
• Handle accident management, insurance claims, registrations, and regulatory compliance.
• Control fleet operating costs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Workshop, Finance, Branch Operations and other stakeholders, providing regular performance reports.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in fleet management, car rental, leasing, or transportation operations.
• Proven experience managing large vehicle fleets and driver teams.
• Strong understanding of fleet maintenance, insurance processes, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, planning, analytical, and cost‑control abilities.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions and improve operational performance.
