Fleet Supply Chain Coordinator – CAMO Talent Pool

About the role

In this role you will carry out transactional supply‑chain functions and act as the front face of supply chain to support maintenance tasks, procuring spares, components and complex assembly tools for aircraft maintenance activities at Qatar Airways Technical.

Key responsibilities

• Receive Aircraft Materials Requisitions (AMRs), review price catalogues, obtain quotes from approved sources and negotiate for the lowest price and shortest delivery lead time on purchase, loan or exchange basis.
• Prepare Purchase Orders, Exchange Orders and Loan Orders in coordination with stakeholders such as Technical Materials Planning, MOCC, Engineering, Technical Records, Warranty, Logistics and Maintenance, applying the correct GL and CE codes.
• Secure appropriate Delegation of Authority (DOA) approval based on order value and release orders to approved suppliers.
• Provide inputs for supplier selection, focusing on best price, minimum delivery lead time and preferred vendor location.
• Ensure all shelf‑life items are sourced from fresh stock with at least 80 % shelf life remaining.
• Obtain order acknowledgement from suppliers within 7 days of release and monitor overdue orders to keep them below 5 %.

Required profile

• High School, Vocational Qualification or Diploma with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Good knowledge and exposure to computer systems.
• Ability to understand parts certification, technical publications, vendor manuals and TPM.
• Familiarity with EASA, FAA and QCAA regulations.
• Persistent communicator capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
