Full-Time Video Editor (Food Reels)

About the role

A creative and digital marketing agency in Doha, Qatar, produces social media content for restaurants, cafés and food brands. It is hiring a full-time Video Editor to join its remote team, turning raw shoot footage into short vertical reels that make food look as good on screen as it tastes.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 9:16 reels for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook from raw footage, following an approved storyboard and shot list
• Colour-grade food footage so dishes look rich, natural and appetising, without a fake or over-saturated look
• Build a strong hook in the first two seconds and pace the cuts to the music with clean, intentional transitions
• Design the sound: music, sound effects on the exact frame, smooth overlapping transitions and balanced loudness for social platforms
• Add on-screen text and titles in English and Arabic, using copy supplied by the team
• Create reel covers and short cut-downs from each edit
• Deliver on schedule, handle revisions quickly and keep project files organised and properly named
• Work with the social media manager, designers and shoot crew and stay up to date with reel formats and food trends

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally for social media or an agency
• A portfolio of food, restaurant or product reels (required)
• Good written English; Arabic is a plus
• Reliable delivery, meeting deadlines without being chased

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut
• After Effects is a plus
• Strong colour-grading ability, with before-and-after examples
• Good ear for music and timing, attention to detail on every frame

What we offer

• Full-time, fully remote role, Monday to Friday
• Competitive monthly salary based on experience
• Steady work across a growing list of restaurant and food brands in Qatar
