Fund Accountant

About the role

The Fund Accountant will support accurate fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for a range of asset‑management vehicles, including funds, companies, SPCs and discretionary mandates. You will work closely with auditors, fund managers and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality financial data and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain fund accounting records, general ledgers and chart of accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, trial balances, management reports and related schedules.
• Process fund expenses, accruals, fees, subscriptions, redemptions, income and cash‑flow transactions.
• Support accounting systems, data quality initiatives and finance operations.
• Coordinate with auditors, administrators, custodians and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management; ACCA, CPA, CA or MBA Finance preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including fund accounting or portfolio‑management platform exposure.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, controls and analysis.
• Excellent communication and execution skills.
• Fluent English.
