About the role

Otis is seeking a General Manager to lead its Qatar branch, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, field activities, sales, and administration. The role focuses on expanding the portfolio, delivering high‑quality customer service, and ensuring operational efficiency across all touch points.

Key responsibilities

• Align financial and strategic planning to achieve business objectives for Otis Middle East.
• Implement branch development plans, launch new products/services, and streamline internal processes.
• Monitor and control branch operations and administration to maximize productivity and service standards.
• Support equipment and service sales, identify synergies, and maintain client relationships.
• Foster a service‑oriented, performance‑driven culture and meet service quality targets.
• Ensure field operations comply with service quality and EH&S standards.
• Lead customer‑complaint handling, resolve escalations, and drive satisfaction initiatives.
• Drive change initiatives to adopt improved operational processes.
• Develop talent pipelines, mentor high‑potential staff, and support succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Manager, Construction Project Management) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience managing operations in a construction or engineering organization.
