Global Retirement Benefits Manager

About the role

The Global Retirement Benefits Manager oversees end‑to‑end pension administration across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring efficient, compliant delivery of government pension schemes and private funds. The role drives continuous improvement, maintains stakeholder relationships, and aligns retirement benefits strategy with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate timely transfer of funds and data to Zurich, manage employee access credentials, and respond to related requests.
• Design and implement settlement processes for departing employees and manage death cases in coordination with all relevant parties.
• Collect, validate, and process beneficiary details accurately and ensure proper documentation.
• Develop and maintain systems to monitor IPP eligibility, track new joiners, current employees, and leavers.
• Ensure adherence to program guidelines, minimum service requirements, and provide accurate plan information to entitled parties.
• Liaise with plan beneficiaries to communicate rights, responsibilities, required documents, and address inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with the GCC Pension Authority to review monthly accounts, stay updated on IPP changes, and determine beneficiaries’ entitlements.
• Monitor compliance with local, regional, and global regulations, coordinating with legal and compliance teams as needed.
• Manage relationships with benefits providers, negotiate contracts, oversee service level adherence, and assess vendors to maintain market competitiveness.
• Leverage data analytics to evaluate retirement programs, prepare business cases for plan and vendor changes, and partner with consultants, brokers, HRBPs, and senior management on initiatives.
• Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department.
