Graphic Designer

About the role

A full-time, non-management Graphic Designer is needed at a Westin hotel in Doha, Qatar. The designer creates marketing materials that reflect the brand's image and style and help drive hotel revenue, working with marketing managers and other operational departments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce marketing materials such as advertisements, collateral, signage, flash pieces, electronic brochures and presentations.
• Partner with marketing managers and operational teams on design and conceptualization of deliverables.
• Maintain familiarity with customer demographics and develop the look and feel of promotion and event collateral.
• Monitor project progress, keep project files and archives, and give regular status updates to the marketing and project teams.
• Handle production tasks including printing, scanning, digital retouching, image editing, special effects and layout.
• Follow company policies, keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets.
• Provide professional, courteous service to guests and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from an accredited university or college (preferred).
• 3 to 5 years of graphic design experience (preferred).
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to move, lift and stand for extended periods.
