Group Performance Director (CFO background)

About the role

The Group Performance Director will strategically oversee and enhance the operational and financial performance of the TMT vertical. Reporting to executive leadership, the role combines CFO‑level financial expertise with deep telecom service provider experience to drive continuous improvement and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies that improve shareholder value by linking network and service performance to revenue growth and profit.
• Define, monitor, and report on KPIs such as network availability, QoS, customer experience, and churn across business units.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities across the Group.
• Oversee network capacity planning, demand forecasting, and risk mitigation for peak periods.
• Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports for senior management and the Board.
• Lead digital performance transformation, enhancing OSS/BSS processes and optimizing costs.
• Collaborate with finance, network operations, customer experience, commercial, IT, and external partners to align performance objectives.
• Manage budgets for performance initiatives with rigorous financial control.
• Assess market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behaviour to identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Finance on modelling, budgeting, and risk management related to Group performance.

Required profile

• Proven CFO‑level expertise in financial performance management, business modelling, and risk management.
• Extensive experience in telecom service provider operations and network performance management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership abilities.
