Handyman / Painter

About the role

Join the Engineering team at Radisson Hotel Group in Doha to deliver high‑quality handyman, painting and maintenance services across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general handyman, repair, painting and maintenance works throughout the hotel.
• Perform painting and touch‑up works in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, restaurants, offices and back‑of‑house areas.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, scraping, patching and cleaning before painting.
• Execute minor carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and general repair tasks as required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders within required timeframes.
• Inspect walls, ceilings, doors, fixtures and furniture for damage and defects.
• Support preventive maintenance, refurbishment and renovation projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organized condition.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Handyman, Painter or Maintenance Technician, preferably in a 5‑star hotel.
• Strong practical knowledge of painting, surface preparation and finishing techniques.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and after‑hours when required.
