About the role
Responsible for day‑to‑day pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up activities of field projects, ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy guidelines, engineering design, safety and environmental standards. The role provides guidance to contractors to align work with approved method statements, project schedules, quality and material requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and advise contractors on all pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up tasks to meet scope of work and regulatory standards.
- Ensure execution of activities follows approved method statements, project schedule, quality and material specifications.
- Monitor compliance with safety and environmental standards during commissioning phases.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of experience in design, construction, commissioning and start‑up of oil & gas processing plants, preferably offshore.
- At least 8 years in a commissioning coordinator or team‑leader role within EPIC contracting environments.
- B.Sc. in an engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
