Head of Wealth Management – Qatar

About the role

Swisslinx Middle East is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Wealth Management to lead the wealth‑management proposition for a prominent locally‑headquartered bank in Qatar. Reporting at Unit Head level, you will shape strategy, drive product development and ensure regulatory compliance for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the bank’s end‑to‑end wealth‑management proposition, covering investment products, advisory solutions and discretionary portfolio services for HNW and UHNW clients.
• Oversee product‑governance frameworks to guarantee regulatory compliance, risk limits and client suitability.
• Coordinate between private bankers, risk/compliance teams and external product providers to streamline execution and enhance service delivery.
• Drive revenue generation, AUM growth and market penetration across local and regional wealth segments.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of product specialists, advisors and investment professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investments, Economics or a related discipline; postgraduate degrees or CFA/CAIA/CFP designations are highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 + years of progressive leadership experience in wealth management, investment advisory or asset management, preferably within the GCC banking sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing wealth products, cross‑border solutions and strict client‑suitability/regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
