Health Club Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Health Club Attendant to keep our fitness facilities clean, safe and welcoming for guests. The role involves maintaining equipment, supplying towels and water, and assisting members with any immediate needs.

Key responsibilities

• Wipe down machines, remove towels, trash and debris from the fitness area.
• Maintain adequate supplies of cups, water and towels; fold and stack towels according to procedures.
• Clean restrooms and showers in the recreation area.
• Distribute lockers and towels to guests and provide information about facilities and activities.
• Conduct inventory of supplies and report low stock to the supervisor.
• Promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
• Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive and report any accidents or hazards.
• Inspect equipment for defects and report maintenance issues.
• Answer guest inquiries courteously and handle telephone calls with proper etiquette.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for an entire shift and lift objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical capability to bend, twist, stoop, reach overhead and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Professional appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Team‑oriented attitude, respecting colleagues and supporting common goals.

Required skills

• Basic cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Knowledge of safety and emergency response protocols.
