Helicopter Captain – AW169

About the role

The Helicopter Captain will command an AW169 helicopter to transport VIP and VVIP passengers safely and efficiently. Based in Doha, the role demands strict adherence to civil aviation regulations, company SOPs, and security standards while delivering high‑level professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all operational procedures and checklists in line with applicable regulations and company manuals.
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness, confirming that documentation, equipment and approvals are valid before each flight.
• Conduct comprehensive pre‑flight planning, risk assessments, weather analysis and mission briefings.
• Lead the crew, delegate tasks, and promote teamwork to achieve safe mission execution.
• Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders to provide necessary information for safe operations.

Required profile

• Current type rating on the AW169 with at least 1,000 hours on type (preferred).
• Minimum 3,000 total helicopter flight hours, including 500 PIC hours and 100 PIC hours on the AW169.
• Experience in multi‑crew helicopter operations; VIP/VVIP transport experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management and operational procedures.
• Fluent English with effective communication and leadership abilities.
