Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician supports guest satisfaction by responding to repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all hotel facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests, communicate solutions, and document daily activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, mechanical‑room devices, and HVAC systems, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic, and mechanical components.
• Carry out surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and replace light bulbs and A/C filters.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Support landscaping upkeep and external sprinkler systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 month of general maintenance experience; hotel engineering experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and reaching overhead.
