Housekeeping Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping operations for the luxury Raffles & Fairmont Doha properties. The role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort across guest rooms, suites and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily housekeeping activities for guest rooms, suites, public and back‑of‑house areas, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Supervise, coach and develop housekeeping supervisors, attendants and support staff.
• Plan staffing, schedules, room assignments and daily workload to meet operational priorities.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, VIP suites and turn‑down service, reporting any defects to Engineering.
• Manage inventory of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies and equipment, and control costs.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and service recovery professionally.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement deep‑cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance programmes and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel, with supervisory or managerial responsibility.
• Proven leadership, coaching and team‑development abilities.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, hygiene and fire‑safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
