HVAC Engineer – Maintenance Team Lead

About the role

The HVAC Engineer will lead a maintenance team to ensure preventive and corrective work on HVAC assets is performed safely, on time, and to high quality standards. You will coordinate with senior technical staff, subcontractors, and customers while producing technical reports and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and train the maintenance team on HVAC tasks and asset knowledge.
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective jobs are completed on schedule.
• Manage subcontractor visits, schedule work, and oversee quality.
• Prepare permits, approvals, and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Monitor spare‑part inventory, generate reports on defects, breakdowns, and damages.
• Support health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSEQ) compliance, including toolbox talks and PPE checks.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering with at least 8 years of maintenance management experience in a comparable facility.
• Strong team‑building, problem‑solving, and dispute‑resolution abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS standards.
• Computer literacy for reporting and documentation.

Required skills
