HVAC Technician – Installation, Maintenance & Repair

About the role

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to install, commission, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects. The role ensures systems operate efficiently, safely and in line with project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and service chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV, split & packaged units, and exhaust/fresh‑air systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control faults; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Handle refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming and leak detection.
• Monitor system performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local codes and project quality requirements.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance logs and related records.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades; respond to emergency breakdowns as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on HVAC experience in project or facilities environments.
• Familiarity with GCC/UAE projects and international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, CIBSE is preferred.
