Indian Wedding Specialist - Wedding Planning & Décor

About the role

A luxury wedding events company in Doha, Qatar is hiring a full-time Indian Wedding Specialist to plan, design and execute Indian weddings. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in wedding décor, creative styling and event conceptualization, from mandap setups and floral installations to mehendi, sangeet and reception events.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multi-day Indian weddings, including Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet, Baraat, ceremonies and receptions, and oversee timelines, logistics and vendor coordination.
• Create décor concepts, themes, mood boards and presentations, and design mandaps, stages, entrances, floral arrangements and venue transformations.
• Work with décor production teams, florists, fabricators and lighting specialists, and supervise installation, styling and dismantling.
• Source, negotiate and manage décor suppliers and production vendors, including quotations, budgets and project timelines.
• Present concepts and proposals to clients, prepare budgets and cost estimates, and keep events within budget.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Indian wedding planning, wedding décor or luxury wedding production.
• Proven experience managing large-scale Indian weddings and multi-day celebrations.
• Strong hands-on experience in wedding décor design, conceptualization and execution.
• Excellent understanding of Indian wedding customs and traditions.
• Experience with decorators, floral designers, fabricators and production vendors; luxury or destination wedding experience is an advantage.

• Knowledge of production materials, installation techniques and venue styling.
• Budgeting, negotiation, project management and client presentation skills.
