Inventory Controller – Retail Stock Management

About the role

The Inventory Controller ensures accurate stock tracking across multiple stores in Qatar, UAE and KSA, supporting 20 Watsons locations. You will maintain inventory integrity, minimise losses and guarantee product availability for marketing events and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Track and control product movements between warehouses and stores, escalating discrepancies with suppliers.
• Maintain shipment logs in both physical books and digital systems.
• Conduct weekly stock accuracy checks, investigate shortages, and coordinate updates with the brand team.
• Prepare stores for marketing events by organising stock counts and scanning procedures.
• Record missing barcodes, liaise with the brand team and produce monthly reports.
• Support annual business planning, manage monthly budgets, create purchase orders and monitor invoices.
• Oversee non‑merchandise assets in stock rooms and ensure presence during after‑hours store maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma or high‑school education.
• 1‑2 years of retail inventory or stock handling experience in the local market.
• Strong data management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Good PC skills.
