Investment Associate – Emerging Markets Infrastructure

About the role

The firm is a Doha‑based private‑equity manager focused on transportation and energy infrastructure in emerging markets. The Investment Associate will support the full investment lifecycle, from origination to exit, and gain exposure to cross‑border transactions across Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, Latin America and South‑East Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Build, own and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts and valuation analyses, including discounted cash‑flow models.
• Research prospective investments, sectors, competitors and market trends across assigned regions.
• Lead or coordinate due‑diligence workstreams, covering financial analysis, legal review, ESG and risk assessments.
• Prepare investment memoranda, Investment Committee presentations and stakeholder updates.
• Support capital structuring, assess investment‑vehicle jurisdictions and contribute to fundraising and investor‑relations activities.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of relevant post‑undergraduate experience, ideally in private equity or investment banking.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Strong financial acumen, commercial judgement and analytical capability.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French or another European language is advantageous.
• Willingness to be based in Doha with frequent international travel.
