Investment Banking Specialist – Business Analyst

About the role

Support the delivery of foreign direct investment growth, co‑lending initiatives and sector‑based financing solutions across Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Iraq, Turkey and Syria. The Business Analyst bridges business, risk, credit, operations and technology teams to implement new lending capabilities and drive strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze FDI opportunities, lending trends and sector growth across target markets and develop business cases for new financing corridors.
• Gather, document and validate business and functional requirements, translating them into specifications for lending platforms and process enhancements.
• Assist in reviewing and enhancing credit policies, risk appetite frameworks and lending workflows.
• Support implementation and optimisation of loan origination and loan management systems, including mapping end‑to‑end lending journeys.
• Act as liaison between Business, Risk, Credit, Operations and Technology teams to coordinate cross‑functional initiatives.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, develop performance dashboards and monitor implementation outcomes.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in corporate banking, lending, credit, business analysis or related financial services.
• Proven experience supporting lending transformation, credit projects or platform implementations, preferably in FDI or structured finance environments.
• Strong understanding of lending products, credit processes, loan lifecycle management and policy frameworks.
• Experience documenting business requirements, process flows and working with loan origination/management platforms.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving abilities; fluency in English and Arabic; based in Qatar.
