About the role
We are seeking a reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The role involves routine cleaning, waste removal, and reporting of any defects to ensure a safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Clean walls, floors, furniture, toilets and fittings using manual and electrically powered tools.
- Empty litter bins and transport waste to the main collection point.
- Report defects in equipment, furniture, fittings and electrical appliances.
- Ensure areas are secured after cleaning and report any security breaches.
- Maintain safe and hygienic working practices, including proper use and upkeep of cleaning equipment.
Required profile
- Primary level education.
- Good interaction abilities.
- Physical fitness with ability to walk long distances.
Required skills
- Use of manual cleaning tools.
- Operation of electrically powered cleaning equipment.
- Application of safety precautions for cleaning equipment.
