Jiu Jitsu Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Jiu Jitsu Trainer to lead engaging, age‑appropriate classes for children and youth. The role focuses on teaching Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu techniques, fostering discipline, fitness, and self‑defence in a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Jiu Jitsu sessions tailored to different skill levels and age groups.
• Ensure a safe training environment by following injury‑prevention and safety procedures.
• Teach proper techniques, discipline, and self‑defence concepts.
• Motivate students and build positive relationships with both children and their parents.
• Maintain class records and communicate progress to parents.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Jiu‑Jitsu trainer or coach.
• Valid Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu certification or recognized belt rank.
• Proven experience working with children and youth.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with young learners.
• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

• Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu (BJJ) techniques and teaching methods.
• Safety procedures and injury‑prevention strategies.
• First Aid and CPR knowledge (preferred).
