Junior Mechanic – Heavy Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanic to support our senior team in maintaining and repairing mobile and crawler cranes and other heavy equipment at our Qatar operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, inspection, repair and implementing corrective actions on mobile and crawler cranes.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to motors, pumps, hydraulics, and other systems.
• Operate and maintain both simple and complex heavy industrial equipment.
• Ensure proper collection and disposal of hazardous waste generated during maintenance activities.
• Maintain personal tools inventory, service records and work orders.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned work orders within deadlines.
• Follow health, safety and environment (HSE) procedures and comply with company and client regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or automotive technology.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment or cranes.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Good physical condition, manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
