Junior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Procurement Officer to support our Procurement Department in managing material, service, renovation and maintenance purchases. The role ensures efficient, compliant and cost‑effective procurement processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑user procurement requests by issuing enquiries, sourcing quotations and selecting suitable vendors for materials, services and maintenance works.
• Prepare quotation comparisons, negotiate where needed and process contracts and purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules, track order status and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, contracts, warranty certificates and AMC records for audit readiness.
• Work with end users to create accurate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) upon delivery and service completion.
• Monitor supplier performance, update vendor records and raise issues to ensure service standards are met.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain operations within real‑estate, property management, manufacturing or facilities‑management environments.
• Strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) materials and services, with ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare cost comparisons, negotiate with vendors and support cost‑effective purchasing decisions.
