About the role
UBS is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join its delivery team in Qatar. You will design and build scalable software systems, focusing on Java, Python, and AI agent development, while collaborating with global IT teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, secure systems using Java and Python.
- Architect, implement, and deploy AI agents that integrate with business workflows.
- Collaborate with product, design, and research teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to long‑term technical strategies.
Required profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Approximately 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Good communication and collaboration skills across teams.
