Key Account Manager – Mobile Experience (Qatar)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operator Key Account Manager to join our Mobile Experience team in Qatar. You will be responsible for growing Samsung’s mobile portfolio through strategic partnerships with the country’s leading operators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with Ooredoo Qatar and Vodafone Qatar at commercial, marketing, and senior leadership levels.
• Own the inclusion of Samsung’s smartphone, tablet, and wearable portfolio in operator roadmaps.
• Co‑create go‑to‑market plans for new product launches to secure hero positioning.
• Oversee ATL, online, BTL, and retail executions across operator touchpoints.
• Manage the operator channel pipeline (sell‑in, sell‑through, sell‑out) and unique sell‑out programs such as subsidies, bundles, trade‑ins, and installment plans.
• Coordinate purchase, sales, and inventory processes to maintain healthy stock levels.
• Monitor market dynamics, 5G rollout, eSIM adoption, FWA, FTTH bundling, and competitor activity.
• Negotiate quarterly and annual joint business plans, including volume commitments and marketing investments.
• Report regularly to internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with Qatar CRA regulations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in the telecom sector, preferably with direct exposure to GCC operators.
• Post‑graduate degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or a related field is a plus.
• Proven relationships with Ooredoo Qatar and/or Vodafone Qatar commercial and marketing teams.
• Strong understanding of Qatar/GCC telecom dynamics, including post‑paid vs prepaid mix, device financing, and 5G monetisation.
• Excellent networking abilities with local retail partners, distributors, and media agencies.
