Landscaping Technician

About the role

The Ritz‑Carleton Doha is seeking a dedicated Landscaping Technician to join its grounds team. You will be responsible for preserving the pristine appearance of the resort’s outdoor spaces, ensuring that guests experience the highest standards of beauty and cleanliness throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all hotel grounds daily to maintain a pleasant and immaculate appearance.
• Maintain fountains, planters, lawns, and other landscape features, including cleaning, pruning, and seasonal planting.
• Operate and troubleshoot irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution.
• Report any defects, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the senior grounds manager.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized landscaping services when required.
• Assist with special events by preparing outdoor areas according to event specifications.

Required profile

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related outdoor maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in a hot climate and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high aesthetic standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a hospitality team.
