About the role
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all linens and garments are cleaned, inspected and prepared to the highest standards for guest use at JW Marriott Doha.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machinery, adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
- Identify stained or damaged items and decide on spot treatment, rewash, repair or discard.
- Inspect cleaned articles, fold them by hand or using a folding machine, and place them in linen carts.
- Maintain accurate laundry records and follow safety, security and company policies.
Required profile
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
- Willingness to work in confined or elevated spaces and navigate stairs or ramps.
- Commitment to follow safety training, report incidents and maintain confidentiality.
