Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry‑cleaning and drying equipment at The St. Regis Residence in Doha. The role ensures all linen and guest items are cleaned to the highest standards while following safety and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Operate washing, dry‑cleaning and dryer machines, add chemicals, clean lint traps and set appropriate times and temperatures.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, spot‑treatment, rewash or discard.
• Inspect cleaned articles for quality, fold them to designated sizes and place them in clean linen carts.
• Maintain accurate records of laundered items and perform routine equipment inspections.
• Follow all safety, security and uniform policies, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
• Comfort with moving through narrow, confined or elevated spaces and navigating uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Willingness to adhere to company standards, maintain confidentiality and support team goals.
